Sara is a Greek and American, Athens-based artist and creative whose work explores moments and thoughts that are at once deeply personal and universally felt. She studied Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and at Polimoda in Florence, and Jewelry Design at Central Saint Martins in London. Her career began in styling, working with both magazines and private clients, as well as in screenwriting for feature film. Alongside this, she developed a parallel practice in art and design journalism, contributing to platforms such as Yatzer and The Huffington Post, where she explored contemporary culture through a curatorial and editorial lens. Her artistic practice has since taken her through residencies in the islands and the south of Greece, New York, London, and Italy. Informed by Abstract Expressionism and Conceptual Art, her work is text-driven and contemporary, defined by a bold visual language and an intentional embrace of imperfection. She works across colored pencil, oil stick, and acrylic on paper and raw canvas. A curated selection of her original works is available as limited-edition fine art prints.
